Reading Room is open for all thoroughout the week.

Library Timings

Membership is open to: (a) All the regular students of the college, (b) All the teaching and non-teaching staff of the college.

Access to Library is provided any one on request.

Temporary Membership:

Provision is also made for temporary membership. Applicants are allowed to use Reading Room, Reference Section and Periodical Section. Photocopying and access to online resources are extended to them. They can seek transfer of books from stack to Reference Section for study but borrowing and home lending is not provided for.

Borrowing facilities for the Students:

Students pursuing Honours in humanities can borrow three books at a time for the period of seven days. They can  renew the same books twice only. Students from science will get four books at a time for the period of seven days.

Borrowing facilities for the Teachers:

Teachers can borrow eight books at a time for the period of 30 days only.

Borrowing facilities for the N0n-teaching Staff:

Non-teaching staff will be issued three books at a time for the period of 15 days only.

 

Library Fine:

**Members will be charged Rs. 1/day as fine if the books are

     not returned in due time.

** In case of lost books the cost of the book will be charged.

     

 

Borrowing of Documents

For duplicate library card follow the below steps:

* Apply to the Librarian.

* Collect no due certificate from the library.

* Pay Rs. 10/- at cash counter of the college.

* Show the counter part of the receipt to the library clerk.

     Enjoy the library facilities with your new library card.

Library Card

Students at the time of admission in 1st year get library card on showing the admission slip to the concerned counter in the library. Every year the card is renewed after the readmission. For teaching and non-teaching staff of the college the library card is issued on receiving application for the library card.

 

The Library card needs to be carried with you while visiting the Library and also for transactions of all sorts.
